Paper Street Audio Company
Paper
Street Audio Company is a one-person audio shop where service matters.
Audio engineer Paul Kavicky has extensive experience in sound
production and will ensure that your project comes out sounding its
best. Professional
engineering with cutting edge gear produces polished audible results
that you simply cannot get any other way.
Great audio gear is where it all starts. However, skilled audio
engineering is the most important aspect of Paper Street Audio
Company. It takes both the "ear" and the "gear" to deliver a better
quality final product.
Paul Kavicky - the
engineer
Paul confidently handles all
the technical conerns and takes charge as the ringleader of fun, so
that working on music is enjoyable at Paper Street Audio
Company—like it's supposed
to be. His sonic sensibilities, extensive
professional
experience in both live and studio sound, and work ethic propel
projects to successful completion. Paul has
freelanced for arts and production
companies, as well as for IATSE in large scale touring shows. Clients
include Wicked, Showboat, CAPA, Balletmet, Mills James Productions,
Columbus Junior Theatre, Drew Thomas Productions, Dublin Dance Center,
Muskingam College, Wyandot Lake, Music King, DTN Productions, Meister
Boo Productions, Crystal Garden, Vaud Villities, Otterbein College,
Pounce International, and many others.
Paul's studio production work includes tracking, mixing, editing,
remixing, audio post, voiceover, and voice-on-hold for numerous
clients, many of which have a long term relationship with Paper Street
Audio Company. Clients have ranged
from corporate, government, theatrical, forensic audio, and dance, to
musicians of all genres, from opera to industrial. Editing and sound
design
for live performers and dance companies has become a specialty for
Paul.
As an IATSE journeyman, Paul has gained experience in FOH sound,
monitors,
backline, and related stagehand work with large-scale touring music and
theatre productions. He has also done location sound for independent
movies, commercials, and other videos. Experienced as both
an A1 and A2, Paul can run sound as well as run crews. Because over the
years Paul has worked as part of the road crew and the house crew, as
an agent, and as the talent, he clearly understands the big
picture of production.
All Paper Street Audio Company equipment is in road-ready shock mount
racks. And with a traveling card, passport,
and roadbox, Paul is ready to go where
the gig is!

Reviews
"Paul
has exceptionally high standards for his quality of work and
it
is always prevelant in the final product. We have been extremely
happy customers for over a decade."
-
Angela Carter, Dublin Dance Center
"Paul
Kavicky of Paper Street Audio brought a wealth of experience to sound
design on our short film. His background working with musicians made
the integration of a complex soundtrack with dialog and background
elements seem effortless. And because Paul's state-of-the-art studio
made for quick recording of actor voice over and ADR as well as
synthesized and acoustic music, it became the one-stop solution for all
of our post sound needs."
- Aaron Friedman, Meister Boo
Imagination
"Paul exceeded our every expectation. Besides having the
technical expertise, one of his most impressive qualities was his
dedication to our project. He took the time to really understand the
needs of our story and was devoted to turning our vision into a
reality. He always strived to raise our production quality to the next
level by offering out-of-the-box ideas and continuously refining the
audio until we were all completely satisfied. His passion,
professionalism, and ability to overcome the adverse situations we
faced in post, made all the difference for our short film. "
